Music Graded at Conference
These lists are Band, Full Orchestra, String Orchestra selections that were
graded at Conference and are eligible for Festival.
NA for a grade means the committee found the selection to be Not
Appropriate for festival based on one or more of the following
criteria:
- Too short or too long in relation to the technical difficulty
(i.e. a very difficult grade VI that was only 2 minutes long)
- A novelty or "Pop" tune
- A "Fiddle" tune
- A string orchestra selection that was clearly a solo or
section feature with very little work for other sections
- A really bad piece of music!
On your Festival registration form,
cite the address of the webpage listing
rather than the # on the Manual CD.
