to VBODA homepage | A new Independent Winter Guard will be emerging from
Fluvanna County this year. Impact Independent will be based out of
Central Virginia with staff members who have marched with The Cavaliers,
Madison Scouts, The Crossmen, and Magic of Orlando. Some of our staff
members have also taught The Crossmen and The Bluecoats. Impact will be hosting a technique clinic on Saturday, September 9th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Fluvanna High School. Participation in the clinic is open to all ages, so your high school students and instructors are welcome to attend. We will cover a broad range of skills in equipment and movement, from the most basic to the most advanced. This could be a great opportunity for your students and your color guard staff to learn some challenging new skills before the 2007 marching band season is fully underway! If you do not have a winter program, Impact may be a great way for your best color guard students to further develop their skills during the off-season. There is a non-refundable clinic fee of $25.00 per student. Registration begins at 8:30 am. A pizza lunch will be provided.
