1. District judges will have the authority to limit the length
of time a student is allowed to play the prepared music if the tempo
is too slow.
2. To have standard scales asked at the audition based on easy, medium, hard criteria, and then once a decision has been made, every student in instrument class will be asked same scales. (Feb 1, 1986)
3. All audition candidates will be asked the same scales and if a candidate fails to complete the required second octave of a scale, then at least 1/2 credit will be awarded, if everything else is played correctly. (Oct 1, 1986)
